Please note that this program is distinct from the “traditional ERASMUS+ student mobility within Europe.”

Under Key Action 1 (KA171), the International Credit Mobility program allows for the exchange of students and/or staff between Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) and Partner Country (non-EU) institutions. HKU is open to participating in various activities within the scope of the KA171 project, which enables higher education institutions to carry out exchanges with other Erasmus+ Partner Countries.

This initiative provides higher education students and staff with the opportunity to gain professional experience or learn in another country. Its main goals are to support the personal development and employability of higher education students, enhance the professional development of personnel working in higher education institutions, and improve the capacities and international dimension of higher education institutions. It also aims to help individuals acquire skills, knowledge, activity, and behavior, as well as strengthen their foreign language proficiency, increase their awareness and understanding of different cultures and countries, foster a sense of European citizenship, establish international communication networks, and ensure the recognition of qualifications.

The target audience for this project includes students and staff of higher education institutions enrolled in formal education programs at all levels (associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate).

The project duration can be either 24 or 36 months, while the activity duration ranges from 2 months to 12 months for student mobility and from 5 days to 2 months for personnel mobility.

– It is not a direct extension of the KA103 /KA131 activity.

– There is a limited budget and a competitive selection process, where project applications submitted to the National Agency are subject to quality assessment.

– Universities that are project owners also carry out ‘incoming’ activities in addition to ‘outgoing’ activities.

– Although it has similar rules to KA103/KA131, there are also differences that set it apart.
